Best known as frontman of British rock band Feeder, Grant Nicholas has taken his music in a different direction since the launch of his solo career.
The well received Yorktown Heights has now been followed by mini-album Black Clouds, which will be released on April 6th and is described by Grant as "a love letter to the sound of Laurel Canyon in the 70s" and is reminiscent of Tom Petty, Neil Young and James Taylor.
While in town recently for a gig at Whelan's, the Welsh man joined us at The Workman's Club to record new track Reminisce and a beautiful cover of classic Nine Inch Nails' Hurt.
