Since Ed Sheeran announced that he'll play a gig for 400 people at Whelan's this month, everyone and their mother has been trying to get their hands on a ticket.
While the venue has yet to announce how tickets for the show will be distributed, one Laois girl decided to take matters into her own hands and go right to the source in an attempt to bag a place.
The 19-year-old sent this letter to the venue, promising to work as security, bar staff or cleaner in order to witness the intimate performance.
While we're not sure of her chances of success, we have to admire her initiative!
The
Thinking Out Loud singer confirmed earlier this week that he will play the venue on January 24th as part of a new series of VH1's
Storytellers.
The gig will be broadcast live on the channel and Whelan's has
appealed to fans to be patient while ticket details are finalised.
