Inspired by a wide range of influences that include everything from pop to R&B and soul, ‘All About That Bass’ is playful anthem that urges girls to ignore the standard beauty ideal. Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Meghan explained: “When writing the song, I was thinking  about girls today and how because of social media, there’s more pressure to be society’s version of perfect and the message of the song is to love your body no matter what”.
