If there’s one thing the ladies in the Her Towers love it’s a good ol’ stint on the dance floor and we think we have just found our new jam.
Let us introduce you to Meghan Trainor, one lady that we have no doubt you will be hearing a lot more of.
The 20-year-old who hails from Nashville received her first publishing deal at age 18.
A multi-instrumentalist, Meghan has already penned tracks for everyone from Grammy Award winning country stars such as Rascal Flatts to Common Kings.
‘All About That Bass’, the first single from Meghan’s upcoming Epic Records debut album for release later this year and it may possibly be one of the most infectious tracks since Pharrell William’s ‘Happy’.
Inspired by a wide range of influences that include everything from pop to R&B and soul, ‘All About That Bass’ is playful anthem that urges girls to ignore the standard beauty ideal.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Meghan explained: “When writing the song, I was thinking about girls today and how because of social media, there’s more pressure to be society’s version of perfect and the message of the song is to love your body no matter what”.
