Having hit the box office on February 5, The Wandering Earth is set to become one of the biggest blockbusters of 2019, already drawing in a reported $600 million.
But, don't worry if you haven't heard of the flick, either have we, and that's because the film was made and released in China.
And now, after being an absolutely smashing success over there, it looks like Netflix are ready to share it with the world, buying it to stream to over 190 countries and translated into 28 different languages for us all to enjoy. Delightful.
The sci-fi film sees the sun dying out and people from all around the world are now building giant planet thrusters to move Earth out of its orbit and towards a new star system. But, the 2500 years journey has come with unexpected dangers, and in order to save humanity, a group of young people in this age of a wandering Earth are ready to fight hard for everyone's survival.
