Is anyone else GASPING for the release of the Downton Abbey movie?
Well boys and girls, we only have a few more months to wait – thank GOD.
And now, we’ve been given a little glimmer into what we’re in for, in terms of how our favourite characters are looking.
Yesterday, Focus Features and Universal Pictures released a number of character posters for the feature film.
It’s been four years since the final episode of Downton Abbey aired, and by the looks of these posters, not much has changed for the Crawley family and the Downton staff.
The new posters, which were released yesterday via Twitter, reveals pairings of our favourite characters.The movie will be set 1927, two years after the final episode aired in 1925.
The whole premise of the film is that the Crawley family is preparing for some pretty important guests: the king and queen of England.
Naturally, there will be more to the story, with guaranteed drama at every turn.
Anyway, for now, we’ll just be staring at the movie posters, and counting the seconds until we’re reunited with the lads.
