The 1972 Richard Adams novel has been adapted again for the small screen, this time by the BBC and Netflix, and apparently it's not going to be half a gruesome so at least there's that.
Including voice work from James McAvoy, John Boyega, Nicholas Hoult, Olivia Colman, Gemma Arterton, Sir Ben Kingsley, Daniel Kaluuya, Peter Capaldi, Mackenzie Crook, Rosamund Pike, Rory Kinnear, and Taron Egerton, the two-parter looks set to gently scar another generation of kids and adults alike.
There'll be an original score from Sam Smith though so, you know, might make the whole scenario a bit more chill.
The trailer shows bunnies running, bunnies having a nice time, and bunnies being chased.
Set in the idyllic rural landscape of southern England, the film will combine adventure and courage as the rabbits navigate a world under constant threat by humanity and other animals.
Watership Down will be on BBC1 on December 22 and 23 and later released on Netflix for international viewers.
