OK, so a lot of details have been revealed about Stranger Things 3

Olivia Hayes

If you haven’t watched Stranger Things, where have you been?

It centres around a group of kids in the 80s, who come across mysterious and downright dangerous beings from another world.

We’re not going to give too much away in case you have yet to see it, but let’s just say season one and two were absolutely brilliant.

But now, moving onto season three. And of course, there are spoilers here, so if you don’t want to know, look away.

Yes, it has been confirmed that the kids of Hawkins are making a comeback, and its executive producer, Shaun Levy, has let a number of details slip… and we’re very excited about them.

First of all, the budding romance of Mike and Eleven will continue, and given that the series will be based a year in the future, we’re looking forward to seeing what that might bring.

Another romance that will also continue is the one between Lucas and Max. When we last saw them, they shared a kiss at their school dance.

But the news we’ve all been waiting on is that hot guy-turned-bully-turned-incredibly cute babysitter Steve Harrington will also be sticking around for season three.

Shaun said: “We’ll definitely get to see some more of Steve Harrington in season three, and I’ll just say we won’t be abandoning the Dad Steve magic.

“I don’t want to say much more, but I literally feel that we were walking along and we stumbled onto a gold mine with Dad Steve.”

Oh, and another thing. Since this season is based in 1985, it will be heavily influenced by Back To The Future, which came out that year.

While a release date for the series has yet to be announced, it’s safe to say we’re all pretty excited for it.
