People can’t get enough of Netflix’s newest dark comedy, Dead to Me

Looking for something new to watch?

It’s been a lot colder the last few days, and the option of staying in and binge-watching a movie or TV show is just really tempting.

Thankfully, Netflix have added the perfect TV series to bingewatch this Bank Holiday weekend.

Introducing Dead To Me.

The 10-episode first season begins at grief support group in Southern California, which is where viewers are introduced to Jen – a sardonic widow determined to solve her husband’s recent hit-and-run murder.

At the group, she meets her total opposite: an optimistic free spirit named Judy, who recently suffered her own tragic loss.

When the two women meet at a support group, they become unlikely friends despite their polar-opposite personalities.

But as they bond over bottles of wine, Entenmann’s cookies and a shared affinity for The Facts of Life, Judy desperately tries to shield Jen from a shocking secret that could destroy her life as she knows it.

Dead To Me, created by 2 Broke Girls’ Liz Feldman, explores the painfully unfiltered, weirdly funny waters of grief, loss and forgiveness – and is the binge-watchable TV series that is perfect to watch this Bank Holiday weekend.
