After months of speculation, it has been confirmed that a third instalment of the hit film is to go ahead, with original writer Kay Cannon believed to be on board for the screenplay.
Universal Pictures announced that they have given the green light to Pitch Perfect 3 but it isn’t known at this stage whether Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks and Rebel Wilson will be returning.
