This is the reason why the pool on Love Island is never used

If you're as hooked as we are on Love Island, then you might have noticed a few odd things that do or don't happen in the villa. One of them is that the pool is hardly ever used.

Do the girls ever go in the pool? Like seriously they must be baking #loveisland

If you thought it was to save their microphones, you'd be wrong. If you thought it was because they didn't want to spoil their hair or makeup, you'd also be wrong. It turns out it's for a very simple reason - they find it too cold. Even though it's baking outside and all they ever wear are bikinis, they still don't want to chance the cold water of the pool to cool off. Ex-Love Islander, Kady McDermott revealed to OK! that they didn't go in the pool over the temperature:

"We didn’t actually get in the pool a lot because it’s so cold. Because we went into the villa at the end of May and it’s just about getting in to summer, the pool hasn’t been heated or anything."
