"They're a really great female friendship. "In season 2, you definitely see that continue. [But] with any friendship, there's going be drama. "The mystery of season 2 revolves around Betty and takes its toll on Betty and her mental health, and that kind of puts a strain on her and Veronica's friendship. She added:
"The friendship is still there; they're still a crime-fighting duo, which you see more of. "I love having scenes with Cami [Mendes]. I know how much people love seeing Betty and Veronica together."
