Fans of Room to Improve will be delighted to hear that the show will return this Sunday. Even better news is that music legend Daniel O'Donnell and his wife Majella will be the focus of the first episode.
RTÉ has released a sneak peek at the episode and it looks like Dermot Bannon has met his match with Daniel who is not interested in too much change.
The pair own a large four-bed detached home in Kincasslagh, west Donegal. Unlike Daniel, who’s fairly happy with the place, Majella is keen to upgrade and reconfigure the interior. With her husband on tour, she’s determined to get the very best from her architect.
But Daniel has told Dermot that he can't change too much, including their master bedroom. By the looks of the clip, Daniel will be putting his foot down:
Speaking about what we can expect from the show, RTÉ has said:
"Dermot plans to unify three ground floor rooms to create a huge open plan kitchen and living area, overlooked by a mezzanine library.
To introduce light and views of the spectacular Donegal landscape, Dermot wows his clients with an enlarged double height south facing window, but they’re not so taken with his vision of wooden floors and a huge exterior floating deck."
The first episode of the new series starts this Sunday, February 18 at 9.30pm on RTÉ One.
