Talk about an emotional rollercoaster.
We nearly lost the run of ourselves altogether on Monday of this week when it looked as though season six of hit RTÉ drama Love/Hate was in the pipeline – albeit without a few key characters.
According to reports, the new season was set to focus on Patrick (who shot Nidge in a dramatic finale to season five) and planning for the new series was said to be in full swing.
Now though, it looks as though our hopes may have been crushed to smithereens once more as a statement was released by RTÉ today – and we don’t like it.
We don’t like it all.
“In relation to rumours about a possible sixth series of Love/Hate,” the statement opened.
“There are no plans to bring back Love/Hate at this time.”
Are you feckin kidding me?!
Devastated is not the word.
However… We are banking on the use of the phrase “at this time”.
That means they will do it later, right?
RIGHT?!
