Why do people pretend like they don’t know each other?
You pass by someone you know in the street and all of a sudden it seems like your an alien from Mars as they walk on, head down, not looking at you. Standard.
Something that is not standard however, is the fact that you apply to be on Love Island, make it there, bump into someone you know and never utter a word.
There’s been a few examples on this year’s Love Island (Megan and Alexandra, Kaz and Alexandra, Adam and Ellie) however, now someone has unearthed a fitness video which shows that new Jack and Laura also knew each other before the show.
The pair – who are getting on quite well together, we might add – shot an ad for gym David Lloyd. While some fans are convinced that the blonde woman in the video is Laura (it does look like her), others are not so sure:

Meanwhile, fans of the show can’t wait for the chaos that will ensue during the lie detector game tonight.
If you’re an avid Love Island fan, then you’ll remember how this challenge practically broke the villa and destroyed Marcel last year.
So obviously, producers thought, OF COURSE, let’s bring it back. And so they have, just at the end when all the couples thought it was smooth sailing to victory from here.
