The Spice Girls first reunion appearance is happening and we’ve only TWO weeks to wait

Denise Curtin

90s kids rejoice, scream… pass out.

Because the Spice Girls reunion is happening and it’s happening VERY soon.

Like, November 10, soon.

Yes, today in a “leaked” post confirming the line-up for ITV’s Jonathan Ross Show, it looks like Mel B, Mel C, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton will be taking to the couch for the much-anticipated reunion of our FAVE 90s girl band.

Naturally, everyone on Twitter went wild for the news while we went straight onto the office Spotify playlist to start banging out some of their classics in preparation for what we expect to be a chat about their tour plus potential new music?

Since an image of the girls together appeared on Instagram 8-months-ago, we’ve been itching for confirmation on a reunion and it looks like we’re about to get it.

Although Queen VB wasn’t on the list of “leaked” names for the chat show couch in two weeks time, she did meet up with her former bandmates when they had their group catchup, so who knows what’s going on?

All we’re sure of is that we expect to see the ladies take to our TV screens in two weeks time and we’re beyond excited.

The Spice Girls were launched in 1994. Their 1996 debut single – Wannabe – proved an instant hit, hitting the No.1 spot in 37 countries – including Ireland.

They’ve sold 85 million records globally, a tally that makes them the best-selling girl group of all time.

Now, that’s an achievement.
