Well that’s awkward.
For many people E4’s show Tattoo Fixers is a guilty pleasure. It’s easy to sit at home and look at other people’s inking mishaps and see them get covered up with something a bit nicer (even if they are also ten times bigger!)
And while many people are huge fans of the show and the artists, a lot of other professionals in the tattoo industry have called out the artists, claiming their work is bad and that it gives cover-ups a bad name.
Whether you love or hate the new ink they provide people on the show, it is hard to deny that this particular cover-up is a bit of a f*ck-up.
Customer Kat came in to cover up a tattoo she got when she and her husband split. It said ‘YOGDO’ which means ‘You only get divorced once’ apparently.
Resident tattoo artist Alice Perrin sketched up pretty design featuring flowers, a pocket-watch, and a tea cup, and at first sight, the tattoo looks pretty good.
But it wasn’t long before viewers started to notice a pretty major mistake.
I thought you went on tattoo fixers to fix a tattoo mistake, not create another one 😂 #tattoofixers #tattoomistake pic.twitter.com/d0gXk5MKK7

The pocket-watch features roman numerals but Alice accidentally added to XI twice to the clock, which is 11. Where the number nine is meant to sit, 11 features again.

While it’s not the biggest mistake in the world, we do feel sorry for the girl who went in to get a small tattoo covered up only to come out with a big one with a mistake in it. Hopefully most people won’t notice.
