The Rock seems like he’s in everything these day. He has a string of movie already in the can this year and has more to come. He’s voicing a new Disney character and will be part of the Baywatch reboot. No surprise then that he was revealed as the best-paid actor a few months ago.
The Central Intelligence star banked an eye-watering $64.5m from June 2015 to June this year according to the Forbes Rich List.
Just when you think he would take a break, he’s started shooting the brand new Jumanji film. He will star alongside Kevin Harte, Jack Black and Karen Gillan in the movie which he has already said won’t be a remake but a follow-on to the classic ’90s movie. His exact words were, “We are NOT making a reboot, but rather a continuation of the awesome JUMANJI story.”
Fresh from the first day of filming Kevin Harte shared an image of them in costume and it’s definitely shaping up to be a good one judging by the photo.
In the post he said, “Day 1 of shooting “Jumanji” is officially in the can. We had a amazing first day. The chemistry & energy of our cast & crew was beyond amazing!!!! This movie is going to be dope as hell….Can’t wait to get back to work tomorrow.”
