We’re officially on the countdown to series 11 of The Apprentice, and just when we got over the news that Nick Hewer wouldn’t be back – we were dealt a second blow.
Our favourite Irish comedian, Dara O’Briain has confirmed he won’t be back on the results and analysis show The Apprentice: You’re Fired.
The comedian will be replaced by Jack Dee on the follow-up show on BBC Two, which interviews the latest candidate to face the axe each week.
The Wicklowman confirmed his exit from the show, tweeting the news and wishing Jack Dee luck in the role:
No, I’m not hosting the Apprentice: You’re Fired this week. Instead, I’ll be on tour, Brighton Dome and Hammersmith Apollo! #crowdtickler

Best of luck to @TheRealJackDee who has stepped into the Apprentice chair instead… — Dara Ó Briain (@daraobriain) October 12, 2015
We’re not sure it’ll be the same without him.
