The comedian will be replaced by Jack Dee on the follow-up show on BBC Two, which interviews the latest candidate to face the axe each week.
The Wicklowman confirmed his exit from the show, tweeting the news and wishing Jack Dee luck in the role:
No, I'm not hosting the Apprentice: You're Fired this week. Instead, I'll be on tour, Brighton Dome and Hammersmith Apollo! #crowdtickler
