There’s apparently going to be a special announcement on The Late Late Show tonight

Plus it's packed with some wonderful musical guests.

Looking forward to this one.

RTÉ has teased a very “special announcement” on The Late Late Show tonight. It’s the last of the season and they promise to have us entertained with music and comedy this evening.

Starting off the line-up will be Louis Walsh who is at the centre of this big announcement. He’s going to be telling Ryan all about a big project for next year. New band perhaps?

Actress Miriam Margolyes will be joining Ryan Tubridy to share more hilarious stories from her long and varied career on stage and screen.

A trio of comedians will entertaining the audience. Brendan Grace, Pat Shortt and Jason Byrne will be bringing his unique brand of mayhem to the Late Late set.

Ryan will also be chatting to TV chefs Rachel Allen and Richard Corrigan who will be making some unusual suggestions for the festive season.

The RTÉ Concert Orchestra will be in studio to accompany three of Ireland’s best music acts – Aslan, Finbar Furey (with Cór na nÓg) and Glen Hansard.

Also on the show will be Alice Leahy, from the Alice Leahy Trust, who will give a timely reminder that there are many people facing into a difficult Christmas.
