These are the 10 horror films people can’t bear to watch the end of, says Netflix

How many of these have you watched?

Olivia Hayes

There are two types of people in this world.

The ones that can handle scary movies, and the ones that cannot.

Many of us have to grow into them, leaving childhood fears behind (no, there is not a monster under your bed), and have now begun to enjoy the scary flicks… however, there are some movies that are just so creepy, some can’t bear to watch the end of.

Netflix did some research to find out the top ten horror movies that people switch off, and you might be surprised by the outcome:

  • Cabin Fever
  • Carnage Park
  • Mexico Barbaro
  • Pirhana
  • Raw
  • Teeth
  • The Conjuring
  • The Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence
  • The Void
  • Jeruzalem

A Netflix spokesperson spoke to Forbes about how they could possibly know such a thing, but the TV giant explained that it’s all down to a simple equation.

Netflix just had to look at horror movies which were turned off around 70 percent of the way.

That way, they know that it was because you couldn’t handle anymore rather than just not being interested in the movie.

The company said that usually, if people really dislike a film, they will turn it off within the first few minutes, whereas the movies featured on Netflix’s list were all watched almost in their entirety.

Some movies on the list have pretty crappy approval ratings, but we’ve compiled the films’ Rotten Tomatoes score, as well as the trailer *in case* you fancy giving one of them a go:
