X Factor winner Matt Terry explains the ‘kiss’ between him and Freddy Parker

People are still chatting about the X Factor final.

First, there was Jesy Nelson's choice of outfit during the results show, then the conspiracy theory about Matt Terry taking the winning title and now everyone wants to know if Matt and his best bud, Freddie Parker, actually kissed on stage. At the end of the show, when the other contestants piled on stage to congratulate Matt, eagle-eyed viewers were convinced that he and Freddy kissed and expressed their thoughts on Twitter.

However, Matt has put paid to the rumours, insisting that Freddy is like a "little brother" to him. In an interview with The Daily Mail, Matt spoke of how he shares a close relationship with Freddy and a number of the other contestants.

"Freddy’s like my little brother. Relley C, obviously Saara (Aalto), 5 After Midnight are my brothers. I love them all, I just can’t wait for the tour".

Speaking to The Sun too, Matt clarified the relationship status between him and Freddy, describing it as a "bromance".

"Since day one, we are just bros man. We have such a bromance going – no relationship I’m afraid guys, I’m sorry to say. Sorry man."
