X Factor contestants Sean and Conor Price have told how they were given advice from some very familiar faces ahead of the live shows.

The busking duo from Co Wicklow are set to take the stage for the first time on Sunday night with the groups.

And ahead of their big performance, the brothers ran into the singing competition’s other famous Irish sibling duo: Jedward.

Sean recalled to the Sunday World:

“We met them at the airport on the way over. They were great fun in the show.

“Obviously myself and Conor want to bring something brand new to the show and be our own artists and not have any comparisons there.”

Conor added:

“They were very supportive of us. They know what the X Factor journey is like and gave us a few tips.

“They just said it’s tough but enjoy every moment.”

Sean and Conor are hoping to hit the right note as they join the Groups to compete against the Overs in Sunday night’s show.

The siblings told the publication that their family, including mum Karen and dad John, as well as their sister Sarah, will all be in the live studio audience to cheer them on.

Conor said:

“Our mum and dad are great supporters of us. It’s great to have them with us.”
