The ad featured a dog pulling on the swimming togs of a young girl and showing her tan lines.
Ms. White recreated the snap of her daughter and a friend playing on the beach, capturing the moment the child's friend pulled at her daughter’s shorts. It was only after the photographer shared the snap did she realise that her account was frozen by the social network.
Disagreeing that the image "fit the criteria of nudity or pornography", the two year old’s mum ignored Facebook's request to change the settings on her account or take down the photo. White ended up being banned from the social media site for 24 hours.
After being allowed access to her account again, the photographer uploaded the image – this time hiding her daughter’s bottom with an emoji sticker.
She shared a status, posting:
