A cheese hotel has just opened up in London and it sounds so gouda

Brie-lliant.

A cheese hotel has just opened up in London, and it looks like it’s gonna be grate fun (sorry).

The new hotel – situated in Camden – is accepting its first residents today, and if the photos are anything to go by, it looks sure to make you melt. Like cheese, get it?

Including a whole host of cheese focused installations, cheese themed bedding, and soap that smells like cheese (?), the cheese suite is the brainchild of the guys over at London’s Café Rouge.

They have opened the new cheese hotel – that is really a cheese apartment, tbh – to promote their new cheesy menu, which includes a whole host of delicious dairy treats.

And if you thought the entire cheese hotel situation couldn’t get any cheddar (like better, right?), you’d be wrong – because one nights stay is entirely free.

Café Rouge are inviting patrons to spend an evening in their special cheese haven totally free of charge while the hotel is open – all they ask is that visitors consider a donation to their partner charity, the Prince’s Trust.

“We always want to cater to the appetite of our customers and we know that there’s a real hunger for cheese-based dishes after serving over 20,000 Cheese afternoon teas since launching in 2018,” said the café.

“So, we wanted to give the nation somewhere new and exciting to be totally immersed in one of their favourite foods in none other than a cheese-themed hotel suite, while also trying some of our winter dishes from the comfort of the sofa.”

However, if you fancy spending a night in the cheese hotel, you’ve unfortunately only got a short space of time to get yourself in there.

The room will be open for guests from today until February 6, naturally meaning that there are a limited number of spots available.

But if you fancy chancing your arm – and are in London, obviously – you can email [email protected] for the opportunity to be chosen for a nights stay.
