You'll no longer have to choose between the two.

At this stage, sure we all know that we should really begin our days with drinks that look like they were made from the grass in your back garden. It's just that, well, we need our coffee too, don't we?

If this is the story of your life too, boy, are you going to be SO excited about what we are about to share!

Mornings are full of tricky choices; how many times should you really be hitting the snooze button, what are you going to wear, etc. etc. But at least now you don't have to find yourself pondering the old 'healthy versus caffeine' questions. Because, ta-da, here is the smoothie that has the coffee IN it.

Pure genius, if you ask us. Add in the fact that this little beaut of a drink also has spinach, protein and (double YUM) peanut butter in it, and sure you're laughing all the way out the door!

Here is your our new morning life-saver:

Green Peanut Butter Mocha Protein Shake

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1-2 cups spinach (if you are feeling the need to be super-healthy, you could always do half-and-half spinach and kale)
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 1-2 teaspoons peanut butter
  • 1 rounded scoop of chocolate protein powder
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • 1 cup almond milk

Directions

Add all ingredients to your blender.

Mix on high until smooth and away you go!
