One of the best cocktail bars in the world is coming to Dublin next month

Keeley Ryan

One of the top-rated cocktail bars in the world is coming to Dublin next month – and we’ll cheers to that.

Nine Lives Bar is set in a Victorian basement in the heart of the buzzing Bermondsey district in London and was opened by the team behind Sweet&Chilli, a specialist drinks agency, in the summer of 2017.

It immediately shot into the world’s top 50 bars, bringing a sustainable menu to the masses that packed a punch with its customers from the get go.

In fact, sustainability is at the heart of the Nine Lives ethos.

Their bold intention is to drive a positive and sustainable movement within cocktail culture, both for the environment and the people that work there.

The folks behind Nine Lives are going to be coming to Dublin – and will be taking over the Parisian Street Garden Bar at Café en Seine on June 4.

Recipes for each drink on the Nine Live menu are reinventions of past favourites, with ingredients repurposed to reduce waste – and their collaboration with the bar team at Café en Seine is your chance to taste the difference.

Beginning at 7pm, both teams will showcase three sustainable cocktails each – which means that customers will get to try six different (and, from the sounds of things, very delicious) creations.

Both bars have tasked with developing a unique offering for one night only and this will be a must try for fans of a great cocktail.

But what’s drinks without a great soundtrack?

Nine Lives Bar are famous for having a killer soundtrack in their bar – so they’ll be adding jus t a touch of post bank holiday party to the Café en Seine speakers while you sip on tasty, cool drinks.
