Another of life’s mysteries has been officially solved.
If you’re not a dab hand at cooking it can be hard to find yourself in the kitchen.
Not all of us are blessed with the grace of Nigella nor the skills of Jamie or Gordon but at the end of the day, cooking is one of the most basic things we need to learn growing up.
These days we have plenty of gadgets and appliances to guide us but when it comes to cutlery and utensils, it can leave the best cook scratching their head in confusion.

One question that’s always boggled me is in regards to my spaghetti spoon, a big plastic spoon with spokes and a big hole in the middle.

The real use of this hole has been uncovered on Imgur and suffice to say, our lives will never be the same.
It turns out the hole in the middle is dedicated to measuring your dry portion of spaghetti. GENIUS.
