A Harvard Professor just called coconut oil ‘poison’ and we feel betrayed

Wait, what?

Just when you think you’ve been doing everything right…

You’ve replaced rice with cauliflower, you drink litres of water every day and you only cook with coconut oil.

Your health is your wealth and all that!

Well, if you choose to believe one Harvard professor, you may have been making a large mistake.

Karin Michels, a professor at the department of epidemiology at Harvard, has bashed the ‘healthy’ oil pretty publicly.

And despite the fact that people deem it healthy, it is “one of the worst foods you can eat” and said it was “pure poison,” according to Michels.

In her lecture, she said that the benefits of coconut oil are vague, and there are no proper studies to back up the theory.

She said that coconut oil contains saturated fatty acids that can clog your arteries.

That doesn’t sound like a good thing…

However, the coconut debate is ongoing, with a number of professors praising its merit.

Mark Hyman, MD, has spoken at length about the benefits of coconut oil, including balancing out your hormones to burning fat.

I’ll take it.

Listen, we could spend our lives worrying about the side affects of everything we consume.

Or, we could just cook with feckin’ coconut oil.

Live dangerously.
