The sun is splitting the stones out there and if you're not getting your pasty white limbs out, already planning where you're going to go for drinks after work and enjoying an ice cream for your lunch, are you even making the most of it?
We think not.
However, when it comes to the latter, there are some options that we wish they'd bring back to the ice cream freezer.
Yes, over the years, some of our favourite ice creams have been discontinued, leaving our hearts broken and our cravings unsatisfied.
Day in, day out, we're taunted by old ice cream posters that still linger in the local shops of some rural communities. Fallen soldiers who once were the prized possession of every child who was given a 50p to spend in the shop.
However, today, for that day that's in it, we're remembering six of the greats that we'd give any amount of money to enjoy during this week's heat.
