New research conducted by Chinese University, Soochow, has shown that people who consume 40 grams of cheese per day have less chance of developing certain heart diseases.
Researchers analysed data from a range of studies conducted in Europe and America that tracked the diets and health outcomes of over 200,000 people.
It showed that those who ate 40 grams of cheese per day had less heart attacks, and also 10 percent fewer strokes.
This is apparently due to the fact that although cheese contains a lot of fat, it also contains calcium which stops some of these fats from being absorbed into the body.
However, it's not all good news because 40 grams of cheese is actually not that much.
Here's a photo of how much cheese we're talking.
See? Pretty small.
Definitely more than we'd end up eating a day anyway.
Similarly, the research also didn't take into account people who have drastically altered their diets over time so it's probably likely that those who were eating the 40 grams of cheese were just healthier in general.
