If you're over mulled wine but still want to try a festive tipple, we have the perfect option involving the current drink du jour, gin.
It sounds delicious, the perfect mix of sweet and bitter and even better is the fact that gin punch is a warm drink, exactly what you want after a brisk walk on Christmas Day.
It's also super easy to make so you won't have to spend hours getting the perfect recipe and bonus point, you might just have some of the ingredients in your kitchen press already, what's not to love about that?!
Llewellyn’s Irish Balsamic Cider Vinegar is recommended but we're pretty sure you could try any balsamic cider vinegar you have to hand and the same goes for the sweet red vermouth.

The below recipe makes about ten cups so the gin-lovers in your house are sure to be delighted with this Christmas Day treat.
Here's what you need...
One litre Pressed apple juice
500ml Chinnery Gin
250ml Sweet (red) Vermouth
75ml Llewellyn’s Irish Balsamic Cider Vinegar (optional, but adds a richness of flavour and knocks back some of the apple juice sweetness)
Juice of 3 oranges
Whole cinnamon sticks, star anise, cloves, to your taste
One vanilla pod (sliced lengthways)
Here's what to do...
Combine all the ingredients in a pot and warm gently on the stove for 30 minutes.
Don't allow it to boil.
Serve in a teacup with a cinnamon stick and a slice of orange.
