The change is coming as the fast food chain try and reduce the amount of calories in their meals - and even consider introduce veggie options.
Stunning.
KFC has said they want to introduce healthier options that will allow people to eat their lunch and dinner at KFC for under 600 calories.
Victoria Robertson, the company's head of food innovation, also said they want to start offering customers healthier snacks as sides, as opposed to the usual options of fries or, well, just more chicken really.
She said:
“We know people are more passionate than ever about eating well, and we face a big challenge in shifting their perceptions of what we offer. We’ve done it before."As of yet, there is no exact date on when KFC will be updating their menu to include healthier options, but the company has said they hope to remove 20 percent of their calories by 2025. Fair play.
