The Liberty Grill, Cork One Her staffer tells us there are queues around the corner for brunch here and to be fair, any place with a toast menu gets the thumbs up from us. The Organic Kilbeggan Porridge is for anyone being 'good' but the Crab Cake Hollandaise also requires attention. There's an impressive array of 'bubbles' options too and we have a feeling there will be a Her road trip en masse to Cork's Washington Street before long...Open until 4:00 today! First time we could see the door since 10:00 this morning. #newbrunchhours pic.twitter.com/7WrVtwvWkY

Herb Street, Dublin
You can't book this place for brunch which goes to show just how popular it is. One Her lady is nuts about the Hanover Quay location and says they have the fluffiest pancakes EVER. If you want to guarantee yourself a spot, arrive by 10 am. The picturesque views and outdoor tables with blankets are well worth the early start. We're calling this the perfect lazy Sunday spot to chill over coffee and treats.
Hook & Ladder, Waterford
There are four Hook & Ladder cafés (three are located in Limerick) but it's the Waterford branch that was recommended to us. Not only is it an eatery but the talented bunch behind H&A also run a cookery school not to mention the online furniture and home accessories store. Multitalented much. By signing up to a cookery course, you'll learn how to master your own brunch but in the meantime, we hear they do a mean shakshuka.
San Lorenzos, Dublin
Another Dublin spot (South Great George's Street to be exact) but in fairness, it has to be included. These guys are known for their "Brunch of Champions" and it doesn't disappoint. Dishes to write home about include the Coco Pop French toast (see the main image for a feast of caramelised bananas, peanut butter, mascarpone whipped cream, Belgian chocolate sauce) and the Jerk Chicken Tacos. The menu is varied, the place is buzzing and brunch is so popular here, they've even introduced a weekday brunch menu.
The Buttery, Limerick Dirty fries, need we say anymore? The options include bacon & cheese fries, chilli cheese fries and sriracha & cheese fries which are available from 12:30 pm at the Bedford Row eatery. We also need to tell you about the Phillip Cheese Steak Sandwich and Buttery Burger...and we're going to stop now before we get any hungrier. If you happen to be in the region, this is an absolute must for a brunch date (the gorgeous decor means you might just have to Instagram while you're there). When they said #BrunchofChampions, they weren't lying! @SanLorenzos #brunch #yum #allthefood #Dublin # pic.twitter.com/R5aNwGOIV9
