According to The Local, there's no experience required if you're thinking of applying for one of the positions, which are open to the public for the first time ever.
The salary is "competitive" but the job is for only four hours a week, spread over two days - so it is "compatible with other jobs".
The publication reports that the 60 chosen candidates will start on September 30, with a three-month course to develop their senses of taste and smell.
They will also learn the correct terminology to put their tasting experience into words. From there, 40 judges will be "skimmed off" - resulting in two tasting panels.
