Ah, come on man.

How do you like your toast in the morning? With jam? With butter? With the lingering existential dread that comes with waking up another day? Same, to be honest. If you're fairly into butter, you'd probably go ahead and assume that there's only one way to butter toast and that you couldn't really get it wrong. Turns out though - you can. You can get it very wrong indeed. One lad who apparently got it totally wrong (we're not judging anyone here), is this Reddit user who goes by the name of 'panicky_in_the_uk.' Panicky took to the site to share a photo of his breakfast to brag about the fact that he'd fashioned an egg cup out of a cheese grater (?) instead of just spending some money on one. Fair enough like. It wasn't the grater people had a problem with though. It was the way he'd buttered his toast. Or rather, the lack of skill involved in the way that he had buttered his toast. Yeah. Like, we can see why the uproar occurred, in fairness. And oh, did the uproar occur. "Sorry! I’m distracted by the avant-garde butter distribution," wrote one person. "Did you just smear the butter on with your hands," asked another. Another person weighed in with this little gem: "My older brother used to butter bread like a stroke victim who forgot he was paralysed from the neck down." Lovely. Basically, people hated the way this bread was buttered and they talked about it for a very long time. Such is the internet and the content it provides us.
