Percy Pig and Penny Pig are officially tying the knot tomorrow

There's a huge wedding happening very soon.

And no, we're not talking about the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Percy Pig - a gummy pig available from Marks and Spencers - and his fiancé Penny are tying the knot this weekend, and the store have launched a special celebration in their honour. After dating for almost 18 months, the couple are due to say 'I do' in Leeds tomorrow, May 5, around lunch time. The adorable pair first started dating in January last year, with the return of Penny Pig in a special 'Percy and Penny Together At Last' pack. To commemorate the occasion M&S have launched a special, wedding themed Percy & Penny pack - complete with some strawberry flavoured hearts. And, of course, the soon-to-be newlyweds are decked out in wedding attire. A spokesperson for M&S confirmed that the sweet treats are available in Ireland as well, and will retail for €2.50 a bag. Percy Pig first hit shelves in Marks and Spencers in 1992, while Penny was first launched in 1998. While they've both been on some pretty big journeys since - mixing it up with reversy Percys, lemon Pennys and even some rosy noses - we're delighted the two beloved gummy characters are getting their happily ever after.
