The store is calling on amateur bakers, not-so-amateur bakers, and bakers restricted only to banana bread to whip up a delicious recipe at home, before making a €4 donation to Temple Street by texting TEMPLE to 50300.
Bakers who share a screenshot of their donation on social media and tag @TescoIrl and @Temple_Street will also be entered into a draw to win a €500 Tesco gift card and a KitchenAid stand mixer.

“The Great Irish Bake has always been a standout fundraising moment for our partnership with Temple Street led by our colleagues," said Tesco Ireland CEO Kari Daniels.
"We are doing things a little differently this year but that doesn’t mean it will be less important to our fundraising efforts.
"We’re encouraging people around Ireland to sprinkle a bit of joy in the kitchen while making a small donation to Temple Street that will go a very long way because now, more than ever, every little helps.”
Tesco will also donate all proceeds from its home baking products on Friday to Temple Street Children's Hospital.
