First came pizza in a mug, now there's a JAM DOUGHNUT in a mug.
If you're having a mare of a Monday morning (can't feel your hands/forgot your lunch/missed the bus) then this is about to make life better.
Gemma Stafford, the genius behind the pizza mug and vlogger at
Bigger Bolder Baking, has brought us the MugNut, aka, a three-minute jam doughnut recipe.
Here's what you need:
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon milk
2 tablespoons (1oz/30g) butter
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon strawberry jam
Optional: Cinnamon sugar to garnish

The video talks through the method but to be fair it looks pretty easy and something any cooking phobic could tackle.
Melt the butter, add the sugar egg yolk and milk and mix. Then add the dry ingredients and mix again. Add your jam and microwave for 45 seconds or so (the time can vary depending on your microwave's settings).
