Whether it's Roses, Celebrations, Heroes, After Eights or Ferrero Rocher we all have our favourites - but have you ever wondered what the nation's winner is? Well, Aldi has done a survey to find out just that and drumroll please...we have a champion: Amongst twelves options, Cadbury's Roses have come up top!10 year old me opening the biscuit tin to see that it’s just sewing equipment: pic.twitter.com/BfHr1BGmfy

Introduced in 1938, Roses have been a firm favourite since they first emerged. In the survey, Cadbury's Roses won 43 percent of the vote gaining a clear margin on the second best, Quality Street. Celebrations nabbed the third spot while Butlers and Dairy Box took second last and last, respectively.
And Christmas wouldn't be Christmas if there wasn't the annual squabble over who gets what chocolates.
Fudge, caramel and orange flavours were the most argued over sweets amongst families when it comes to the ones that everyone wants, with coffee, dark chocolate, Turkish delight and strawberry cremes being named as the chocolates that are always left behind.
Ah here, we love a strawberry creme!
In terms of bikkies, Jacob’s Chocolate Kimberley won the vote, receiving 38 percent. Second best was Fox’s Biscuits and least loved were Snowballs, Custard Cremes, Pink Wafer, Viscounts and Victoria Biscuits.
We can't wait for the festive season to fully kick off. Bring on the treats! We'll be conforming to a Buddy the Elf style diet for at least a month.
