Welcome to Phase Three, folks.

We made it. Congratulations. It won't be long now before we're back in our favourite restaurants and enjoying a nice socially distant time. And while a lot of our favourite eateries have been doing us a solid and providing takeout versions of their menus, there's nothing quite like sitting yourself down indoors, with a glass of wine in your hand, and eating food that's fresh, delicious, and just out of the kitchen. So, in order to get ourselves sufficiently pumped for what's to come, here's a comprehensive list (7) of the Dublin restaurants we're most looking forward to hitting up once they're open again. 1. Sprezzatura  Italian food, but make it cheap. New enough to the Dublin restaurant scene, Sprezzatura has been serving up delicious plates of pasta on Grantham Street for about a year or so. With dishes that'll set you back max €9 and bites that are perfect for lunch or dinner, Sprezzatura is a decent shout for any event, big or small. Chez Max Dublin's quintessential French restaurant, Chez Max closed its doors alongside every other restaurant in the city back in March. Sova Vegan Butcher The guys over at Sova have been busy delivering their delicious gourmet vegan meals for the past while now, but as we all know, takeout is no sit-in and we are incredibly excited for these guys to open their doors again. Sova's menu is always changing, but a few classics (that will hopefully be returning) include the vegan scallops, the vegan doner kebab, and the vegan mushroom tagliatelle. Pi  A few months back, you couldn't even walk by George's Street's Pi without witnessing a long and snaking queue out the door. Inevitably, there will be more of the same once the restaurant opens up to the public again - social distancing measures in place, of course. Pi's pizza is good. Like, so good. It's cheesy, it's thin, it's got an assortment of toppings that you wouldn't find in just any pizza place. And that garlic dip, holy mother of god. SOLE on South William Street has recently been named Seafood Restaurant Of The Year, meaning that its reopening next week is even more special. To mark the occasion, the seafood bar and grills are offering some of their more premium seafood options at reduced prices, including oysters, wild salmon, and their fish pie. Divine. Glas  One of the newest veggie and vegan spots on the scene, Glas's rotating menu is one that the non-meat-eating among us need to sample the second restaurants open up again. We're talking chilli sin carne, we're talking risotto, we're talking king oyster mushrooms and lots of other vegetarian and plant-based dishes that'll make you forget all about not eating meat entirely. Tomahawk  One for the steak lovers among us, and one that is going to be inundated with booking once they open up again. Tomahawk have been sending out their fair share of BBQ home steak packs since their closure back in March, but if it's the full steakhouse experience you're missing, chances are you won't need to wait too long until you're back in there.
