Every year, Today Fm organises the brilliant Shave or Dye fundraising event which aims to have as many people as possible shave or dye their hair with all proceeds and sponsorship going to the Irish Cancer Society.
This year, the radio station broke a world record for the event with 179 people getting their heads shaved simultaneously by shavers at the Mansion House in Dublin this morning. The previous record was 77 heads shaved in Australia.
Thousands of events are also going on around the country as part of the campaign for the Irish Cancer Society which has managed to raise a total of €6.1 million since it began in 2010.
