300 dogs tried to break a world record… by wearing Christmas jumpers

So many pups.

world record

Ah, stop.

World records are always being broken.

There’s the woman who has the longest eyelashes in the world.

Then there’s the woman who has the longest nails in the world.

Then there’s that lad who stuck all those clothes pegs on his face and got the world record for the most clothes pegs ever attached to someone’s face.

Breathtaking.

Yesterday, some dogs went ahead and tried to break their own world record… for the most Christmas jumpers worn by dogs at the same time.

Stunning.

The dogs showed up to Battersea Park in London on Sunday to try and break the record for the most dogs wearing Christmas jumpers.

And oh if they didn’t give it a good shot.

The event was run by dog-walking website Borrow My Doggy to raise money for charity, Save the Children.

The organisations hoped that it would raise awareness for the charity’s annual Christmas Jumper Day, where participants pay £2, wear a Christmas jumper, and support disadvantaged children.

Christmas Jumper Day takes places on December 15.
