7 Questions Men Should Always Answer “No” To…

Take note lads!

Relationships can be complicated things and for that reason, communication and honesty is key. In saying that however, there are a few questions that men should always say “no” to, including…

“Do I look fat in this?”

You don’t have to be a relationship expert to know that answering anything other than “no” to this question will put you in the doghouse for weeks. In fact, if we don’t believe that you think we’re the most beautiful woman in the world by the end of your response, you’ve failed… miserably.

“Should I change my outfit?”

Please see above.

 “Do you think she’s pretty?”

This is a bit like when Rachel asks Ross was the girl from the copy place good in bed. You take your life in your hands when you answer this one so make sure you get it right. When it comes to celebrities, it’s fine to answer in the affirmative (we DO have eyes) but if it’s another “regular” woman or an ex, you better say “no” and mean it.

“Do we have to watch [insert stupid television programme here]?”

If we don’t make you sit through The Notebook once a month, you shouldn’t subject us to the worst show ever made. Guys, this is why Sky Plus was created: to stop couples arguing over the television remote.

“Would you rather go out with your friends than me?”

We know that when you answer “no” to this one, you’re probably telling a white lie but the point is you care enough to tell that white lie and you’re willing to sit in and keep us company. If that’s not love, we don’t know what is.

“Is your mother’s cooking better than mine?”

Do you want to starve?

“If I died, would you move on?”

Sure it’s a bit morbid but couples always end up having this discussion. The bottom line is you should never want to get over us and no other woman would ever live up to the standard we have set… if this isn’t the case, just know that we will haunt you for the rest of your days.
