We like the sound of this! Aer Lingus have this week announced that a number of new features will soon be launched on their website in order to make booking flights and finding a great deal a whole lot easier for customers. The popular airline's website will soon boast a brand new booking option which will allow customers to freeze a quoted price for a flight, or ‘Price Lock’ it, for 24 hours at a cost of €5. On top of that, according to The Mirror, customers will also be able to reserve a transatlantic flight by paying a deposit on the ticket, while online check-in will become a whole lot easier, allowing customers to check in up to 30 days ahead of their trip. “Today is a significant step for Aer Lingus in our commitment to modernise the brand and provide our guests with a smarter travel experience,” said spokesman Mike Rutter according to The Mirror.  “The new site provides us with a modern and innovative platform that will showcase the best of Aer Lingus has to offer.” The new site is available to preview here and will replace the existing site once testing has been completed.
