Yep, according to Kimberly Pruitt, those pesky little clips can cause a problem when passing through security.
“Believe it or not, too many bobby pins will set off the metal detector alarm,” she told Who What Wear. “If you’re looking to maintain your hair and skip the pat down, then I would suggest getting dolled up after the screening.”So while you might be trying to control the flyaways from your messy travel topknot, we think we’ll be doing without the hair slides from now on.
