A woman in Tennessee has received a wave of criticism after a photograph of her walking down the aisle on her wedding day emerged online.
While you might be thinking that such a picture is normal, her one-month-old daughter was coming down the aisle behind her... on her dress.
Shona Carter-Brooks apparently decided that she wanted to have her and her groom Johnathon’s baby girl Aubrey included in the ceremony so organised for her to be attached to the train of her Vera Wang gown.
Following calls from the public for her to be investigated by child protective services, the bride took to Facebook to defend herself.
She wrote: “I see how it works regardless the situation or purpose people are going to have something negative to say!
“The answer is we do what we want, when we want, as long as Jesus is on our side. Everything worked out fine and gone continue to be fine. Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train [sic]”.
