This Morning viewers were brought to tears when a competition winner revealed that she only has a few months to live.
When one viewer won £1,000 during the Dosh At Your Doorstep competition, Alison Hammond was told of her heartbreaking back story.
Heather, 40, admitted to the presenter that she was planning to use the money to throw a goodbye party, as she only has three months to live.
She said: "I got diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, I then got the all clear just before my 40th birthday, I thought things were getting back to normal, I then got told I had brain mets, so now I am getting myself organised."
"I have been told I've got three months to live, so I am going to have a "wake me up before I go, go" party, a party before my passing."
The mother went on to explain that she needs to remain positive for her family, and the team in the studios gave her another surprise on top of her new earnings.
Heather said: "There is no point moping. It is what it is, if I mope it won't help my family, my husband or my children."
"So I am in auto-mode at the moment".
Holly and Phillip then revealed that they would be giving her an extra £1,000, making her day even more than they already had.
Fans of the show were blown away by Heather's positive attitude, and left emotional over her story, taking to social media to share their heartbreak.
One said: "The thing I needed to see again this morning. Heather is extraordinary."
