The Marker Hotel on Grand Canal Square is celebrating the best of Irish food this March to coincide with St. Patrick's Day. From 5th - 22nd March The Marker will introduce a bespoke ‘March Celebration of Irish Food’ menu with mouth-watering dishes made with selected Irish produce from suppliers across the country.
Executive Chef for The Marker Hotel, Gareth Mullins has carefully chosen a number of quality Irish producers and put together the bespoke menu which will be available at the hotel's Brasserie. The menu is priced €65 for four courses including drinks.
The starter include nose-to-tail pork terrine with Orpens cider which is handcrafted pure pressed 100% Irish apple cider. Following this diners will enjoy Dublin bay prawn and Liscannor Bay crab Gumbo. Both dishes will be served with a flight of Irish craft beers to choose from including McGraths Ale, O’Hara’s Beer and Tom Creens Beer.
For the main course diners can enjoy John Stone dry aged rib eye steak with McGraths ale and onion gravy served with Clonakilla wine. The owner of Clonakilla Wine, John Kirk, named the Australian shiraz after his grandfather’s farm in Co. Clare. The dessert will include fresh coconut, lemongrass and mango parfait and be served.
