Momentary Ink is the brainchild of a Philadelphia-based start-up, who have designed temporary tattoos that look and feel like real ink. The low cost (from $15 - $30) also means you can experiment on style and size, without worrying your artwork will run off in the shower.
Speaking to Mashable, founder Jordan Denny explained: “People are getting rid of these cookie-cutter tattoos and really getting into more meaningful, complex, often custom design. It really calls for a thoughtful decision, and requires a lot more of a flexible tattoo process. “We want to make it easier to visualize something much more powerful and meaningful to people before they get it done.” Lasting between 3 and 10 days, the temporary artwork is made to appear in the same matte effect as a standard permanent inking. The largest Momentary Ink tattoo to date is a three-foot long flower design a customer requested.
