defrosting car windows

Not all heroes wear capes.

You may have noticed it’s absolutely baltic out.

And the worst part of this freezing cold weather?

Spending 15 minutes trying to defrost your car windows in the morning before work.

Honestly, there’s no bigger pain in the ass.

But now, those freezing infuriating mornings could be a thing of the past, thanks to one genius.

A brilliant man on Facebook has shared his unbelievable hack for defrosting car windows.

Daniel Harris shared his hack in a video on Facebook, and it has since gone viral for obvious reasons.

He simply filled a plastic food bag with warm water and slid it across his windscreen.

And like MAGIC, it appears to defrost half of the glass in under 30 seconds.

The caption read:

“Hot water in a food bag and bam you’ve got a de icer and a hand warmer. Works a treat, and it’s fast!”

“I used warm tap water so I could safely hold it and lower the risk of cracking my screen! The de-icer cans are so cold in the morning and this way keeps u nice and toasty!!! Oh and yes it was ice not condensation. I know it looks it but try it and you wont be disappointed!”

10/10 sir.
